Secret on the Sahara

(I write too many of these...)

It's past my time to go to bed,
But that can't keep you out of my head.
I've got my eyes peeled
And kept my lips sealed
In order to moderate my self control.

Strangled by a leash called sympathy
Luck has nothing to do with me
How's it going with Life?
I hear that he's a nice guy
But my tongue's got me tied up with no R's to roll.

I'm drawing lines in the sand that don't exist
I'm walking over tripmines all the time
Luck has nothing to do with anything
Abandonment comes to those who wait in line

I've given you full promises
Now give me a full sedative

I see the rhyming is contagious, young man. Maybe you should meet my old friend Lou, sometime. Nevermind..he's dead. Anyways, I really liked this because I can relate to a lot of it. Especially the line that I quoted. It's very catchy and priceless like you said on my blog.

(I dont think you write to many)

Really great entry. It made it easy to actualy feel, and get the sense of what is actualy happening. I like the reconection from the end back to the begining :)
